I just bought a copy of the Ultima collection online and the disc is full color like the logo on the box, then I saw that every other copy is a silk-screened yellow disc. Is the colorful one a fake? I guess KX and the support pack don't support Win98. After I installed the Creative Audigy drivers from the Vogon download site everything is up and running in 98. The system recognizes a multimedia controller, game port, etc. The drivers seem to install fine, but after reboot I get a message telling me the drivers were installed incorrectly or partially and I should re-install them. I'm considering installing it in my Windows 98 Pentium II.

I can't even get the Audigy 1(sb0090) drivers to install in XP. Is there a trick to this? I've read a lot of different sites and it just acts like nothing was installed even when I do it manually. I tried the iso on the vogon download site and the unsupported Audigy Support Pack.

The 2D thing with Matrox cards was mostly about their picture quality. Sharper @high res then most other cards which were kind of "blurry" @1024 and above. So today I'd use them only as the 2D Part for a Voodoo 1/2 to compensate the quality loss due to the loop cable. I'll try that when I pick up …
