My dad hooks up a relatively new (2005ish) Lexmark laser printer to his AT tower to print stuff out on occasion. It hooks up via parallel. I remember when he first did it I was skeptical but he insisted it would work and it does. He uses some kind of tax database program on DOS.

Sorry, I guess modded isn't the right word, more like, unofficially supported. The Dell BIOS was overwritten with an Intel BIOS that recognizes the Tualatin Pentium III-s.

That case looks almost identical to my own. I tried putting an early socket 370 motherboard in it. Powers on but shows nothing on the screen, screen may be too new... Any way, hope you have better luck with yours.

I have that same computer, only I went crazy with the parts. Pentium IV ee 3.2 GHz RadeonHD 4670 (AGP) 3 GB of RAM (used to be 4x1GB, but dual channeling didn't work, so now it's 2x512MB and 2x1GB) Velociraptor hard drive. I recently put XP on it. It works well enough even today.
