Not sure why some people hate Windows ME. It's a solid operating system in my opinion if sure you don't care about DOS compatibility. Plus, it has newer drivers and probably causes less problems with larger amount of RAM and bigger size hard drives. Although, I haven't used it for 12 years or so.
