I have all the equipment but dont think I am gonna go through all that for a 4400.....just figured I'd check and see what could be done......I really appreciate all the information though. I may try to heat it up and see what happens before bailing on it and moving on......

Trying to remove heat sink from PNY GeForce4 Ti4400 AGP card. I have all the screws out, the fan and screws are out, and the plastic spring loaded holders are out but the metal heat sink itself is still solidly on the card. How do I get it off without damaging the processor underneath? Thanks!

Can caps that look fine in terms of no bulges / no leaks still be bad and cause things like board powering on but not posting, strange POST error codes?

The caps I have are rhe sane except for temp rating. I cant locate any 6.3 v 1000uf 125 degree caps is another issue. Everywhere i look is 105

I am working on replacing some capacitors on a few video cards... If the capacitor on the card was 1000uF 125 Degrees C, 6.3V, putting a 1000uF 105 Degrees C, 6.3V in its place would not be a good idea? Just curious as I have 105 Degree capacitors.......not 125.
