I ended up adding a Zalman VF700-Cu on my GF4 but for the geforce 2 GTS i took the passive square heatsink of a geforce 4 MX applied it on the GF2 and then added a custom 50mm fan to it. Yes, it's a vicious species, they cut really well especially when you work on the entrails, I discovered that the heatsink is an especially perilous parasite inhabiting the average PC, if you press it too much it can release a ferocious and quite wicked attack that will cut your finger's skin.

I personally think the G3 is overall a waaaaay better card, the V3 is a nice card for period builds and glide but for overall gaming not so much, with the G3 you can enjoy filters at least in older games where the card will not struggle, environmental bump mapping, IIRC Geforce3 didn't have EMBM. …

Reading online it appears that the velocity can install normal voodoo 3 drivers, it says that you only need to swap in the voodoo3.inf for the velocity one, in my case it didn't work, am i missing a step or something?
