Cleaned and tested my Olivetti M240 + Olivetti EGA screen (I was really happy to get the last one) The first few attempts it came to life once or twice, HD was not detected etc... Yeah. Even though I got the items pretty cheap, I kinda felt bad. But my budget is very limited. The mother was happy that I would totally clean,repaste and restore them 😀 Even though these bits were not worth much, they would sell them on the flea market. Otherwise they would turn up in a bin.

That one with the spilled cap,is softmodded. I will try to hook it up to the net to see if it sync. Someone here told me,it's needed when you swap the HD. A bug the XBOX had...

You can loop through but afaik they both need to be on then in order to use one.

Replaced the RTC cap in 2 of my 3 classic XBOX. Need to order a third one *DOH* 1 had already spilled its guts. Even though I replaced it,cleaned the board etc...it doesn't keep it's time and date. The soldering job is bad but I don't think it matters?
