In such a situation, one of the best ways to eliminate the possibility of an unintentional ground is to remove the motherboard from the case and set it up on a bench with the bare minimum of components and test it that way.

I like when you have the same game installed on a few different computers, and you realize that on more than one you've stopped at the same point because it's a level that you have difficulty getting through and/or it's the part of the game you don't like.

I didn't check the Biostar, but Jan has a patched BIOS with K6-2+ support for the Tyan (assuming that the S1590 is the same as the S1590S) on his page. Upgrade your BIOS to that, then try again. http://www.steunebrink.info/k6plus.htm
