I'm wondering whats the best setup for Age of Empires era MIDI setup (yamaha unit and sound card?). I only play games post 97 not including DOS on a win98/win ME build. I hear that a Roland mt-32 may produce a nice and clean sound.

I also dual boot 98se and 2000. I have three hdd, one for dual boot os, second for program installations and third for a tonne of iso's. i'm rocking a 6800gt and tualatin 1.4ghz 512mb ram, relatively quiet setup 😉

Was able to source two samtron 76e brand new in box monitors from fleabay. lets hope they come in one piece and are ok 😀

hay guysh. kidding aside.. i'm looking to introduce a voodoo2 sli into my build. can anyone tell me why this is popular? also i'm looking to pair the sli voodoo2's with a ti4200 in the agp slot, is that wise? any input would be appreciated.

Had a LG Studioworks 775N back in the day. Great mojnitor, shadowmask. Now I have two aperture grille monitors which I don't like, especially when playing old games like caesar iii.

The problem is I can't find anyplace that sells brand new CRT's. No one makes them anymore..It's becoming rare to find a perfect CRT display.. I would pay £100 for a brand new quality CRT

The ram is single sided. The manual does say each slot supports upto 128mb. The reason I said AWE64 is because the software from the driver disk loads up a splash screen while it installs saying creative AWE64. I'll keep a look out for a voodoo 2, they do pop up on ebay once every often. there's …

What brand? I have always bought Crucial, no issues whatsoever. I currently own a Crucial M4 128GB and it's great. P.s. My vote is with Intel (3570K?). The 2500K was anawesome chip, nippy as well once overclocked 😀
