I've bought a Slot Am motherboard and CPU bundle. I've tried using my single sided PC133 memory on it. Nothing shows on the screen. Done the usual reset bios by taking batter out etc. frustrating. Wanted to check out IDE to SD and my vortex 2 😒

Does anyone offer a recapping service. My TUSL2-M motherboard has been flaky and in storage. Some error to do with the keyboard port. Would like to ressurect it.

not buying a matching voodoo 2 STB black magic for sli on ebay back in 2014 (only settled for one, now understand that voodoo sli is picky) and in the same auction won the voodoo 1 for £1 but threw it out 😒

question: what's the slowest slot 1 processor for the 440BX? The slowest possible for slot 1 I think is a downward unlocked P2. These can set their multi to 2x iirc. Usually LX has lower FSB options (some should be able to do 50MHz FSB) so what do i search on ebay? pentium ii slot 1 233MHz? …

in the end i went for the actual system with the 50/60Hz switch and a mega everdrive x3 cart with all the roms stored on a microsd card. I also went with a rgb cable from retrogamingcables with CSYNC. it runs US titles like MUSHA like a bawse (with a flick of a switch) and sounds awesome 😉
