The speech issues with late Sierra DOS releases will lead you down a deep rabbit hole... Abandon the idea... Play the Windows versions or better yet, emulate the DOS versions in SCUMMVM.

SiS 611 is slower than 411 for what i know. 611 is PIO-3 only. 411 with driver can reach PIO-4 speeds for reading at least. Never saw SiS 83C601 chip or card based on it. Well, unfortunately either something is wrong with my board or there's some other issue with this setup, but HDD functionality isn't working... I was able to obtain a copy of the UM4980 Award BIOS that can be opened with MODBIN and enabled PS/2, so maybe it will be useful for someone in the future …
