Couldn't get a good shot of the CPU because of lighting and the guts, but this post is right next to the CPU so it should give you a good idea. EDIT: Who decided putting a Varta half an inch away from the CPU was a good idea?

The R9 390 for $150 or less seems like a solid card. Iv got a Fury and my dad has a r9 290 I picked up when they were $80 a piece and they chew through pretty well.

Every IR peripheral we owned through the years other than Remote controls got donated ages ago. Eat through batteries and the response from the receiver even up close was atrocious to the point of getting into the bios being an issue on some PC's

So my experience with SB Live cards have been very bad on Socket 370 Via Apollo chipsets. Have you tried the different versions of the Via 4-in-1 drivers? Somewhere around here someone's posted very thoroughly.

Bought a second DRAM less? I guess 240 GB "Bestbuy exclusive" WD Easystore. I wonder what it actually is. Massive upgrade over a WD blue 8mb cache sata drive. Im curious how the P6100 will compare to the i3-3120 with less ram in just normal Windows updates and web usage with the same SSD.
