Uncompressed audio is a waste of space. They should use FLAC (lossless, very fast decoding, royality free) at least.

You can use the full version of Half-Life to play Uplink. Copy the uplink folder and activate it in the Custom game menu or run it by a shortcut (hl.exe -32bpp -game uplink). 😀

It took someone to write a patch, so this is something way outside of what Windows natively supports. Non-natively doesn't automatically mean bad. And even with the patch there are lots of steps involved. I don't think so. And when you dig deeper there aren't many that actually use larger drives …

Yeah, I did complain about Invisible War in the "Crazy system requirements for its time" thread. This game was released too early. Oh, and level loading times are just awful even on modern CPUs. However, I like this game, it's a guilty pleasure for me. 😊
