Legally, you can't download a ROM, even if you own a cart. Your only 100% legal option is to rip the ROM from the cart. That said, there isn't really a way to prove you DIDN'T rip the ROM from the cart instead of downloading it...

I'd go with the K6-2 500 and a S3 Virge GX2 to pair with the Voodoo2, simply because with setmul and cache shenanigans you can easily use it to play great DOS games too. That should easily cover almost every Glide game released until about 2001 or 2002. You also get access to S3D API games, whatever …

What card is it? find pics online of others of the same model and see if R99/R100 are occupied. Maybe someone here has the same card and can test them to see their values, or maybe they were always meant to be empty?
