Its a pice of software i should be able to have a boot selector and able to help on starting installation from d drive and select what hard drive i want to install it on, im not talking about partition's, but seperated hard drives.

ah, well, its that the installer itself would useally crash when i chosed full installation, but atleast i dont have to swap cards.

wait what??? this is confuseing. now the bios found the cd.rom drive anyways, situation is cleared.

Now that this is related to some cd-rom troubels now another weird thing is happening on the bios cant find the optical drive at all, it finds the floppy drive fine and the cd rom drive aint existing, it worked before, anyone know how to get that working again? i also changed ide cable.

Is your computer properly set up to boot from CD-ROM, or for that matter can it actually boot from CD-ROM? If the CD-ROM can't be set as a boot option in the BIOS (in the options for boot order), then you'll need to use a boot floppy... CUSL2-C definitely has an option in its BIOS to boot from CD- …

Yeah, thats how i did so, burned cdrom.iso to the cd-rw as in burned the contents onto it, might need to check on that again.

i was honestly loss on words trying to explain this since it is a fat32 extension, but the strange thing like i said is scandisk couldnt repair it and i can read it fine from the dos prompt.

i cant sem to acces a old quantum fireball that once used to be c: drive on another windows 98 machine ive treid to recover files lately from it and i did remember to adjust jumper to slave but it sems to cause freezeing on if i try to acces it from the my computer folder, and scandisk cant scan it …

ill keep that in mind for enother time, but i have a few network cards here im wonder on being most compatibel with windows 95, wouldnt i most likely have a chance with a 3com ethernet lan card?

I would suggest pulling out the Voodoo, ethernet and sound cards and reset your BIOS to defaults. Then try again. Does it still happen? If so, then try a different keyboard. If you can get the PC to a point where it stops rebooting when you have a keyboard plugged in, then start adding back your …
