Well, the L2 cache jumpers and TAG chip were wrong. After changing that, it boots with the CPU set to WB mode. I'll test the other BIOS and see what happens. I tested the 1997 BIOS, but my HDD refuses to boot or throws bad cluster errors with ScanDisk and won't continue. Going to try it again.

Received the board yesterday and spruced it up by swapping the battery with a CR2032 with a battery holder; removed D2 to prevent the charging circuit from being used. Backing up my old S7 Edge (going to retire it) and going to put the data that's backed up on my SD card onto the new phone I recently got (put on a screen protector and added the case to it as a precautionary measure). 1 thing left after that and that is activating it.

They are, but I believe he's talking about the timedemo for Doom to see how quick it is for the hardware. I get between 42.4 and 46.5 FPS when I run doom -timedemo demo3 on both of my 486 machines. 1 of which allows me to change the timings for the cache and RAM, whereas the other one does not, but …

The PB450 board has the ISA riser card with it as well and has a better video chip than my Packard Bell's motherboard. The one I bought a week ago will get diagnostics done on it. If the diagnostics card (ISA or PCI) shows ---- on the display, does that mean the BIOS chip has gone bad or something …

Does it have PCI? If so, a dual IDE controller card would suffice, however, you would need to install the drivers first on another computer to play it safe.
