sadly there isn't any space for a rear fan , there is a decent fan at the front of the case as well as plenty of vents on the back, but no space overall . the case is quite large, but built in a way that putting on extra fans is almost impossible without drilling holes in the case or something of …

a little update on the situation , I thought of the heatsink advice and ended up finding a CPU and heatsink , its a proper 600mhz Katmai, so its the most this motherboard will take, and it seems (judging by the sticker on it) that it was part of an IBM Netfinity , which Im not sure what that is …

always nice to see an older 80s machine up and running, should be useful for quite a few CPU sensitive games. really like the monitor too , a Trinitron CRT is something I wouldn't mind getting, although I can't seem to find one close by (and most people won't ship them for obvious reasons)

Win2000 is a great OS for running Win9x games on period hardware, though it does have a few compatibility issues and I wouldn't recommend it for anything requiring MS-DOS or IPX networking. Otherwise, I like it a lot as a retro OS. its certainly very stable, though I remember a few games not …

thats quite a nice system , wouldn't mind getting a Gravis Ultrasound, I just can't seem to find one for a decent price. the only improvement I can think of is adding another 64Mb of RAM , though the benefit one would get out of it are not massive.

VGA on the Dreamcast is great, makes the games very sharp looking, though sadly it has the flaw that some games simply don't work with it, and this tends to hurt PAL games more. the PAL version of Skies of Arcadia for instance simply refuses to start if the console is using VGA, same with RE Code …

I think deus ex and alice are a bit too much for the k6 platform and voodoo 3,i remeber playing those games on a socket A system,with geforce 2 generation videocard.
