Ti4600 is a great card. If you really want a MX440 I would really recommend a Quadro4 380 XGL instead. They only come in one configuration so no gimped models, and the build quality is high. Just use the same drivers you would with the MX440 series.

I dont use the Aureal for midi at all. I use it to selct which midi I want in a DOS Box / Window. I mostly use Yamaha DX-XG myself.

I use 70-90% isopropyl alcohol mixed 50/50 with distilled water for almost all of my cleaning needs. For a case i spray the case with this let it set, wipe. I don't think the 'power module' is needed at all. There is a voltage regulator soldered on the motherboard right beside it. I found the manual for this board and it describes a jumper setting to switch between two CPU voltage regulator modes. Willing to bet this was intended to support future CPUs …

The original Audigy 1 is a high end, late Windows 98 SE or early Windows XP sound card in the same era as the GeForce3/4. Just my 2 cents.

That is pretty similar to what I had. S3 (I had a Virge DX back then) coupled with Voodoo1 is great compatibilty. That is a ton of RAM for 95;)
