it may be a good idea to boost its vcore to lets say 3.6v. never tried this yet. higher core clock should help a lot.

agp to pci adapters without pci-pci bridge are limited in their functionality. win9x won't work, older mobos won't work. just because they don't expect a pci card with idsel tied to ad16 as agp cards have.

if static linked games failed to initialize voodoo in dos, then run any normal game like carma and exit and re-run static game. that works for me.

These serial terminators are mandatory only for long traces. If chips are placed closely absolutely no need to place them. I had no problem without these on my v2 sli project. Fpga on a aa module is spartan 6, if i remember correct. Have strong doubts that 3dfx voodoo2 chipset is able to operate on clocks faster than 110mhz.

3dfx went a wrong way, their cards were too expensive in manufacturing, almost all. Even v2 was too much expensive comparing to a tnt based cards. But 3dfx quality was real good.
