My Digital PC 5100 has a PCI S3 ViRGE integrated in the MOBO. Duke Nukem 3D flies on it.

Very few VGA cards, even with CGA TSRs loaded, will play Defender of the Crown properly for example.

In any country there should be sufficient supply of AT cases when you: 1: Are willing to pay shipping from a major country in your area. 2: Are willing to spend time searching classifieds ads + pay shipping / drive. 3: Are willing to make phone calls / email computer stores / metal recycling …

Cool! 😀 I wish I could hold on to CRTs. I scrapped 7 recently. They are just too heavy and a safety risk with my kids.

I have been debating whether I should get a 4K LED. It would only run @ 30HZ though. My W520 does not support 4K at 60HZ.

21" Sony Trinitrons and 20" Eizos: no issues whatsoever. I did break a Raymour & Flanigan dining room table in two once by stacking a desktop and 21" Sony Trinitron a few years ago. Flimsy table. My 3 sturdy dining room tables from Raymour Flanigan carried piles of desktops and CRTs: no issues. …

Use a LapLink cable and INTERSVR/LNK to map a HDD on a host. That is the most hassle free way to access a lot of storage on a 8086/8. And most games that run on a 8086/8 are so slow a parallel link works fine.
