Server case compatability with ATX motherboard

Could I use an Intel SE440BX-2 motherboard in this case IW-PE689, even though it is a server case? I like the layout of that case and hope I can fit a Geforce, Voodoo 2, NIC, and ISA sound card.

Is the Audician's sound quality as good as the YMF701-S? The YMF701-S has 2 crystals vs 1 crystal on the Audician. Which sound standard gets resampled on the Audician?

Does the SMD capacitor replacement mod apply the low pass filter to the FM music also or just the SB sound effects?

glib19f.tar.gz from Index of /public/ftp/pub/Linux/apps/sound has a file sbvoice.doc which has the specs for the extended sbi format for Linux sb and o3 OPL patch files. I don't know about the specs for Adlib Gold bnk format.

I opened std.sb in a hex editor, and found that the file is just 128 sbi/op2 patches concatenated together. So, you should be able to extract the sbi files from a bnk file with sbank.exe which is included in sbtimbre, and then combine the sbi files into 1 .sb file. I don't have linux installed at …

I have that same motherboard and I would get the BSOD as well with my Waveforce 192. The solution for me was the swap the card with a Guillemot Fortissimo because its drivers use IRQ 7 for the SB emulation, whereas the Yamaha drivers use IRQ 5.
