So, I will have 256K L2 cache in this board when the chips arrive. All 15ns. 9 chips. I hope that is fine - tag not faster than rest... That means 32MB cached in WB mode. Never have been fond of the idea of running atx2 or newer on an atx1.x spec or older board. 5v & 3.3v power on newer psu's is pretty weak, plus there is the absence of -5v as well. Strange so 486 vlb motherboards can run a great deal faster then a old pentium system or even a great 486 pci board with same fsb and timings. Is this because of the 1 mb of cache installed?
