The wallpaper setting is an eyesore, it's supposed to be tiled, not stretched. 😵 Also, nice mobo expansion capability. My first system was a K5 PR166 on a board with 3(2?) ISA and 4 PCI, but no APG. 🙁

What makes you think that machine is too much for her? An i5 isn't that much more expensive than an i3, and you get four cores instead of just two + ht.
