Very nice video! It's funny, I ended up putting together a Pentium II system together with a 3DFX Voodoo as well with Windows 95. 🤣 Though I AM looking forward to watching your video about configuring the system further! I would like to follow to try having a nice DOS mode here. 😀

I got a 75MHz Intel Pentium CPU in the mail today, so I could try it on a motherboard I bought a year or two back with out a CPU. I remember when you didn't have to pay to get a driver, or rather use their downloader software. I am glad Vogons has a nice driver database to help find things, I wish to see it expand. 😁

Yeah, does fine on 640 x 480, but yeah upon exiting windows, it loses signal or just shows a garbled image. This is why I have the VGA to S-Video converter in place like I did, to rule out the issue.

It was another machine, when I had the Voodoo 3DFX logo act up. However it was any machine with DOS, that gets that odd issue. 🙁 Same case if I were to try to run Descent.

If using Svideo/composite try to use a desktop resolution of 720x480 (if you can) and turn off flicker reduction and just use the Yadif deinterlacer for videos. It's what i've done for my own.
