Does anybody have the files 10-2_vista64_win7_64_dd_ccc_wdm_enu.exe and 10-2_xp32_dd_ccc_wdm_enu.exe ? All I could find for download was the 10.2 legacy package, but the installer doesn't work for my HD 4000 onboard GPU I'd like to try out, so I guess I need the non-legacy variant.

Thanks very much for ECE! I think it was the most widely used DOSBox variant in retro sim racing circles. I just read that it's development has come to an end, which is sad, but luckily there are alternatives. Question is though if Staging does everything that ECE did feature-wise.

3850 is faster in a few things slower in a lot of others, this isn't the 4650 which is indeed slower, I've seen all the benchmarks and in 90% of things not gaming the two are tied where the 4670 trumps the 3850 is in power usage and heat .. oh and reliability ..the 3850 were fucking terrible cards …

Good point, I didn't think about the fact if there even were EAX4 capable games that supported Windows 9x. Thanks for checking and finding out that Tomb Raider game that does. Since my appropiate systems are packed up currently I'd really be interested in your test result.

I don't know the device nor the BIOS in play so this is just a random idea: maybe master/slave/cableselect jumpering is the issue.
