I do not believe the Audigy SE even has Windows 9x drivers . It is based on a completely different chip than otheri Audigy cardss and is an Audigy in name only . DuKe Nukem 3D . Quake was great and all, but Duke Nukem 3D had atmosphere and a memorable protagonist . It also ran great on my 486 at 160MHz whereas Quake, not so much .

I personally prefer SETYMF and consider that SETUPSA is an abomination from a UI/usability standpoint . What corruption would I get? I do not think I did my win 98se install correctly , it did install but now it asked me for win 98 se files after the 2nd or 3rd reboot because my vid driver. I am sure I just installed it wrong and removed the cd when I was not supposed too? Maybe someone can recommend …

Another option is using an XTIDE BIOS . See https://code.google.com/archive/p/xtideuniver … kis/Manual.wiki But on a relatively modern PCI board, using a PCI controller is probably simpler, more reliable and cheaper .
