I don't have a Nvidia card and I can't create custom resolutions. I learned a bit more about scaling pixel sized images. It just makes sense that I couldn't scale it between 1:1 and 2:1 without distording pixels. Thank you for your answers !

Yes the game (Heroes of Might and Magic) is in 640x480. My temporary solution for clear graphics is to launch dosbox in 1280x960 (double of 640x480) in windowed mode, but the window is greater than my screen. I guess I'm gonna play in blurred mode. Thanks for your answer.
