Added Pentium III 733MHz, SiS 630 ECS motherboard. It's a lot quicker than the VIA C3 1.2GHz "nehemiah" chip that I just replaced in the system.

I have a ACER V97M SiS 530 motherboard from a OEM IBM machine. Currently using a Tseng ET6000 PCI card with no problems. Mine doesn't have a jumper to disable the on board graphics but they seem to co-exist without problems.

I agree, the G450 is a decent card. I'm using it in this system because of the DVI output, at the time I only had DVI monitors here at the new house. Here is a picture of my VIA C7 motherboard, a PCM7E PC2500 v1. It's a neat little thing, I bought it new 3 or 4 years ago for £15, CPU is 1.5 GHz.

You also have the option of a IDT Winchip C6, even at 200MHz those don't need a fan, probably be just fine without a heatsink altogether even!
