Keep in mind that the v2 can make good use from a faster cpu but compared to a voodoo1 it is less cpu dependant, so it will be faster no matter what. I think it will keep up with a p75 +voodoo1. But I would put in the banshee as it is underperforming (as is the p60 :lol: ). Throw some other slow …

Can you set the sata ports to ide mode? That usually fixes things as well. Maybe just disconnect all drives and start with one ide master. If that doesn't work the board might have a problem. Sata drives on a raid controller are sometimes not seen in bios. just boot from scsi and it should pick up …

Did you try setting both ide drives to cable select? Otherwise i would start with 1 drive first, if it works add the 2nd.

Yes, the x1950 had these as well. But the stock cooler blew the air over it where the aftermarket cooler didn't, at least not enough. I don't know how hot the 6800 vrm's get. I have an 6800 ultra with stock cooling. It gets the job done and i don't overclock the card.
