I think prices are way to high, but if you really want one, just bite the bullet... One night out in the city gives also plenty fun but costs the same as a voodoo 5 and none of my voodoo cards ever gave me a hangover..... Don`t buy it as an investment because hardware prices can go up OR down …

Only ones here that don`t clock well are the normal k6-2`s (i have the 350, 400 and 500). k6-3 400 does 500 k6-2+ 533 does 600 (2,1v) k6-3+ 450 does 600 (2,1v) For al lot of people 550mhz seems to be the sweet spot as 600mhz isn`t much faster. didn`t use quake3 but 3dnow! seems to work best with voodoo`s? with my sli setup in the k6-3+ i have a geforce 2Ti wich runs fine but it only becomes fast when used in a much higher clocked pentium 3. Geforces love intel and clockspeed.

The v2 will scale but only @ 640x480 imho... I use v2 12mb sli in my k6-3+@600 and with 1024x768 it is hardly a bottleneck. Lower resolutions, my p3 is much faster but at 1024x768 the v2`s are getting a much harder time and the k6-3 is just a little bit slower. Same scenario for the v3 2000, only …

@vetz i have the original disk of screamer 2 and have the patch that was mentioned, it just gives me a black screen with the voodoo2 (i do hear sound so the game runs at that time). and this runs also with the same patches on voodoo3 on your systems?

thanx! i thought the cyrix was off too but it scores normal in integer i guess and bios supported it fine so should be running ok? 100mhz fsb did nothing for the cyrix`s fpu but made a small change in integer. 3dmark just doesn`t like the cyrix so that is definitively wrong, the game bench shows …

no asus p5a? i have one and have a millenium pci compaq 4mb but the only suitable cpu is a p75 wich will not do 100mhz or a p120 wich has way to much bent pins to get straight without loosing my patience 😀

The k6-2 450 will be much faster especially when 3dnow! is supported in the software or benchmark.. A k6-2 will benefit quite much from a 100mhz fsb vs 66mhz fsb.
