If you will get an A500 definitely get an ACA500Plus for ir ;) Not planning. Need stock speed. :-) What I would look for instead, are more memory than 1mb in total. The plan is to have something that can play the games, just as it was meant back then. More mem and a scandoubler will do nice enough …

Hmmm... What makes the 5162 an XT system? I am a bit confused about that 16bit CPU and not 8bit in an XT system and not AT. Is it the way the motherboard has it's layout or the PSU or something else?

Congrats.... And remember, that it is possible to install a Voodoo2 card in a Mac like that. You might even be able to install MorphOS in that Mac, as far as I remember.
