I was only referring to the fact that you can't SYS a drive using dos 3.3 unless it's empty, or there is nothing written in the beginning of the disk. Later dos versions take care of that by moving whatever is there to make space for the system files. But since your drives can boot when placed in …

Never used any firewire drives, as I have never had any. If HD-Loader on a Ps2 system, were FW compatible, I would have used that on my Ps2 fatt.
