I'm building a portable PC and it would be nice to have original OPL3 sound in DOSBox/ScummVM. This is my main XP gaming machine but will also have Win 8.1 and maybe Win 10. @bbhaag, ~12hours Sometimes i wish i would upgrade my Internet from 64Mbits to 120 or 200. But as long as they don't also increase the upload... But what is 300GB today if you look at HDD prices and some people collect TOSEC, NoIntro, TRUERIP and everything...

Ok, got it. The directory is "CLIENTS\WFW\NETSETUP" on the Windows NT 3.51 Server CD. Works great in VMware - no disk changing and fast as hell installation. I wonder if there is also DOS on this CD if WfW 3.11 with TCP/IP-Stack is there. But found nothing yet...

Ok, playing around in VMWare to get the feel of it first. I was reading that the Windows NT 3.51 Server CD has WfW 3.11 with integrated TCP/IP-Stack on it? So before i get me a copy of NT 3.51 Server i wanted to check it out and downloaded a iso. There is a WFW folder - but how do you install 3.11 …

The REMOVED collection has 1,089 Windows 3.x games. Thats the reason I'm interested the first time in 3.x.

I know 3.x is just a graphical shell but i like to separate things. What i don't understand is why there are 3.x games if everything is DOS? For example King's Quest 6 has a different interface and high-res character portraits in the Windows 3.1 release.

The MMX P55C is my Voodoo 1 DOS machine and it should stay this way. We where talking about dual-boot (or swappable HDD) so it has to work in DOS and 3.11 - so Matrox is not an option.

No need to buy DBs? But only if you have a SC-55? And your best gaming experience list has only CM-32L. But if i watch Mau1wurf1977 videos he says you need the old MT-32 because of compatibility?
