Quite an impressive configuration you had set up for yourself. I like the idea of the menu colours. The sub menu system is also quite useful if you do not wish to clog your main start up menu with too many options.

Apart from the differences in the external bus between the 386SX and 386DX chips, the latter also (in most cases) employed external cache on the motherboard (which also improved performance). External cache was practically non existent on 386SX motherboards.

I'm still a bit doubtful as to whether they would have managed to bring the weight down to about 15lbs, considering what a 10 MB hard drive weighed in those days. Granted, the LCD screen would have weighed less than a CRT monitor.
