The Dreamcast/Naomi/etc systems owe a lot of performance to the crazy SH-4 assembly though. PowerVR CLX2 itself is quite weak IMO. A 3dfx Dreamcast would've just been as awesome, or maybe more capable since it's not held back by tile refresh techniques, could've had a longer life that way since …

I never had a problem getting the crap SB16 audio working in VBox but only for very few games, and some have skipping issues. But audio under windows guests in VBox is absolutely terrible, even having a windows 7 guest I have problems with... I'd try VMWare, I hear alot of good things about that …

Well MUNT does a decent Job for LA games. And for GM, well you are spoilt for choice. But there is no need to modify the games.
