Pen with ink and nib removed is a good substitute. Combined with a lighter it can also make a gamebit, until it snaps anyway.

I actually did a video on the YMF724. It works very well, not 100% sure about the XG Synth in real DOS, but I seem to remember an option for it in the installer.

Took my Satellite Pro 410CDT with me to hospital. Have used it a lot lately as I am writing a book and like the keyboard. Have been unable to walk for a while, back at hospital Monday. Probably take the Toshiba again. Of course, I keep the volume low when in hospital.

All chips that I can make out are marked 2007 and 2008 (Implying Creative's manufacturing is pretty crappy, nothing we didn't know already, why change the habit of a lifetime?) meaning your particular card was made, at the earliest, somewhere into 2008.
