I managed to figure out that the board is an Intel D845PT. The network, chipset, and video drivers all work, but no audio. There is still an errant "Multimedia Device" that has no driver, so it's mute... 🙁

I found this old machine abadoned and rescued it recently. It's a P4-1.6 with integrated sound and NIC, and a GF2MX-200 for a video card. The problem is, I can't find the old Windows 95/98 drivers for it anywhere! Does anyone have a stash of drivers? It looks like this: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ …

You really can't use a PC as a floppy drive- the parallel port timing is not good enough, even under DOS (realtime). There have been solutions that sort of worked, but not well. Those cables are for attaching an old PC to a disk drive for reading/writing disks. For storage, the least expensive way …

Strangely, I have run across a half dozen P4 1.6's in my area, and every one of them has been a Gateway S500 series. I assume some large organization locally must have bought a lot of them and sold/gave them to employees for there to be so many in the wild. Fortunately, these mostly still work. …

The early days of booting from CD was a different format and had compatibility problems. It sort of emulated a floppy drive... "El Torito format?". It's been years... What are you trying to boot? Basically maybe the Windows 95 boot CD might work, that's about it.

P3-933 was from 1999, so by 2002 it was on the low end. Remember how fast CPUs got during this time period... Athlon Thunderbird and then XP were destroying P3's and all games/gamers were using them.

Black light doesn't work, or if at all, incredibly slowly. All you are doing is bleaching it with that concentration. It will work with good sunlight, or possibly heat only.

It should pass through with no problem without any software loaded. That is the point of the pass-through. I used one on my A3000 for years, I know it works with 31.5khz video just fine. I guess if the Indivision outputs something it doesn't like, it could interfere?

No to Windows 3.11, unless you just mean DOS-mode. MAME certainly worked in DOS on hardware available at the time, which was Pentium-class by then. It did also work on 486, but likely pretty slow. You needed Sparcade/Dasarcade for 486.

It looks like HxC on Gotek only supports 720/1.44? It's not clear... So, could this not currently emulate 180k/360k/1.2M 5.25? (PC booters)
