Nice, Deksor. Recapping arcade monitor PCBs always brought a lot of satisfaction for me back when I owned machines. Hopefully purity and convergence adjustments are minor if needed.

Good point. Maybe psychz (the two of us, really) have a problem with some glue that held a screen protection layer to the actual screen that has deteriorated? That might be very fixable, indeed.

Most of the hard freezes I have encountered are usually power related or thermal related. I was actually going to ask about your VRM output levels. A quick search of you board shows results that suggest ram timing detection can be a bit finicky.

Ooooh. Looks like the EVEREX 3000 K/L based on the space between the SIMM slots (6 together + space + 2). Thanks, Malvineous! Indeed - I will probably unscrew the PSU - possibly even remove it completely & Use another one with longer wires.
