Hey guys, I recently reinstalled windows 7 on my main PC. Before it was having the same problem. The thing is it starts installing (in device manager) and it goes to the updated driver then reverts to the default (Microsoft WDDM) driver and it says "The drivers for this device are not installed" or …

Bragging? I wouldn't say so. I was quite satisfied with windows, up until 10. I used just about every other version, save for ME or 2k. I have bought actual licenses too, BTW.

I am going to again test out windows 10 x86 on my old laptop (dell core solo from 06). It looks like at the moment it is finishing up installing (it says getting ready). I think I tried it before on said laptop but it was painfully slow. We'll see here pretty soon

I don't even care about Windows anymore. Been dual booting 7 and openSUSE the past week and the majority of my time has been on SUSE. I am not worried about game compatibility, It's not like I play the latest and greatest PC games anyway. You can even get DOSBox on here!

Where in NY? Im south of Buffalo, closer to Cattaraugus NY. If I get any big box games, maybe I'll let you know. The only one I have now is "Plix" from the early 90's. Its in the box with the diskette. All my other games are burned or in jewel case 🙁

yep, mine has the vlb slot. i have been working with it and tried multiple cpu's (AM486dx2 80, i486dx266) as well as ram and nada. im not sure about the jumpers though, I will look at them.
