There is a workaround for OGL / Glide. You can copy the glide2x.dll, glide3x.dll and opengl32.dll (that belongs to the desired card) to the game folder and it will run on the card you wish. I had V5 + V2 SLI in one system once and it worked fine.

I don't know how the 16MB version performs, they seem to be bery rare and I never had one. But the 8MB V3 on MS-6168 board performs exactly like Velocity 100 - so 1 TMU in OGL/glide and 2 TMU in D3D. It can be reenabled using the well known registry hack. Well, at least it worked that way last time …

I had MS-6168 system years ago and the onboard GPU worked perfectly even in glide. There are no special drivers, it is regular Voodoo3 (or in fact Velocity 100 - it has only one TMU active) soldered on the PCB, nothing special about it. I remember running Windows 98 and XP, both were ok.

R350 and R360 are more or less the same, no big deal. And R9800 Pro 256MB/128bit is pretty common card. I have one of these as well. Not Palit though and I am not sure what GPU it has.

This clone V5 seems to support only 5V PCI. Which will limit the performance quite a bit as you won't be able to run it in 3.3V PCI-X boards as 66 MHz PCI device.

Yeah, it is possible capacitors are dead (or almost). So it is best to replace them. Or at least hook up an osciloscope and check how the CPU voltage looks like.

Actually, the 90nm Pentium D are all single-die design. Two "glued" Prescott-1M, sure - but it is one piece of silicon. The 65nm Pentium D 9xx series are MCM of 2 chips.

It is fan-made... or photoshop box. There is no such thing as Voodoo5 5800 officially. Could be regular V5 5500 modded to 128MB and higher clock (183 - 200 MHz). For example I have V4 4500 AGP modded to 64 MB and I call it 4800, co it could be similar here.
