Yeah the C variants have many quirks it seems. I just located a clear DS12887 datasheet that states that 12887 is a direct replacement for a DS1287 and just add some more RAM so it would mean that I can go with the ALT12887 project. Benefit of using Dual PIII is having one CPU running OS, Virusscanner etc, where the other can be used for the Game you want to Play! Most Games back then where not aware of SMP. Quake 3 can use SMP for Example.

i can`t send to USA due to Corona. (USA is very SPECIAL ..) Sending from Germany costs currently 36,99€ to USA, only Priority Mail avaible. No small letters possible.. i have only few DHT kits left. if anyone is interested.

Maybe cache is disabled ? or Waitstates to kill of memory performance. Anyway there is no benefit in OC this Machine. Just grab a faster one ?
