DX 9.0c is Geforce 6, I'm not sure if FX will run. Crysis only needs SM2.0 though, as you can see, it lists Radeon 9800 in the specs. It lists GeForce 6800 as minimum nVidia card, but feature-wise, if the 9800 can run it, then so should the FX, I guess. I'm quite sure I ran Crysis on my Athlon …

An AMD GPU, what a surprise 😀 I think slowest possible may be my old Core2 Duo laptop with Intel X3100 GPU. It runs Crysis, even in DX10 mode, but at about 4 fps in 1280x800.

What I recall of the 6800-series was that there were cheap versions that were a full 6800Ultra chip with half the pipelines disabled. You could enable these pipelines with software, and if you were lucky, many of them worked well enough to use, giving you great bang for the buck.
