Yeah and very friendly webmaster. I couldn't download at first because the port used for download was blocked by my ISP because it was mainly used by Worms. He changed the default port and rebooted the server just for me 😜 EDIT: ooo it has Dark Seed 2 too now, wonderful!

Do I place the digital fix in Phantom or Resource directory? The patch is just two files (audio engine?). You need to find these and REPLACE THEM. Maybe this patch will work for other Microprose games using the same audio engine. No hurt in trying. I tried it with Dragonsphere - the file there DOES …

Cuttock: same here, I found a site that hosted the full game, downloaded, loaded ISO and it went perfectly. I was so happy I bought the game on eBay a few days ago 😜 I didn't want to risk buying another game that wouldn't run.

Could it be a damaged file of dosbox ? I reinstalled dosbox, replaced the conf file with the old one, and now Win 3.1 works.

Okay this sucks. For no apparent reason what so ever, Win 3.1 suddenly won't boot up anymore. It gives an error saying "invalid MS DOS version" or something (it's in Dutch). Any idea why?

I found the solution: If you use ANY switch, it will go to standard mode. The mouse works when I used a different CVS version AND disabled EMS. EDIT: okay I managed to get my SB16 working too 😁

But if you use win /b it starts in normal mode, not enhanced mode, right ?

c:\win /b doesn't work? It does, but that's not enhanced mode is it? Win /3 doesn't work. If I use the latest CVS, I get to run Windows 3.1 with win /3 but I don't have mouse support.

I managed to run Win 3.1 in Dutch with mouse which is great but ... Is there a way to make use those S3 drivers? I always get a video initialisation error when booting Windows (non-enhanced mode). I also don't know how I could install sound drivers - any ideas about that? Or do you know a place …

I'm having this weird problem - DM2 boots fine, I see Interplay logo and then the screen with NEW RESUME and EXIT but I can't click on any of them and the game doesn't seem to respond to my keyboard either. Anyone know why this is?
