Can you list exactly what is in your config.sys and autoexec.bat files? Have you tried disabling the onboard sound via the BIOS? Can you give a screenshot of what your settings are in SETUPDS? You may also need to try putting the Yamaha card in a different PCI slot.

It will just install the DOS sound blaster stuff. It is not going to do anything helpful to get either of your cards working in DOS. I haven't had a chance to pull one of my machines with a Yamaha card installed yet. I'll try to do it tomorrow.
