Anything this old can fetch a good trade/sell value. Let it rest on a open area with sunlight for a couple hours for a week or so so the fungus go away.

As others have mentioned, one of the most important aspects of cybers back then was that they were place that you would "hang out" with friends while playing together. Nowadays almost every one that still runs is solely for internet use.

Game mastering/leveling up skills with the help of a coach (of sorts)/teacher would make more sense for the professional player-to-be, although some free protips would be cool for the average player. Cool thing about Crysis is that gameplay is very smooth even on less than 60 FPS. I remember beating the game first on my 4870 with FPS around 40-45 and it still played very nice. I remember a "Combo" motherboard with this chipset from Gigabyte back then. Really cool to be able to use two types of RAM AND VGA. I didn't know those could handle C2Ds! Isn't the VIA limited to P4s and Celerons?

Pushpins are OK for default coolers (especially 115x, since they are much lighter than 775 and 1366). I can't trust it on tower HSFs. I'd stick with the trusty bolts and nuts + backplane every time.

To use 30GB+ drive on those motherboards you'll need to jumper it to work on 32GB only. Back up everything on it first, remove all partitions, set the jumper and fdisk/format it to your liking. There's something like this on the drive's label: http://www.techpavan.com/wp-content/uploads/jumper- …
