It probably will work, without or with a key on the motherboard. I had one similar to that that was PCIe, but it died. It should work fine, as long as the motherboard doesn't have keys that prevent you from inserting it. Why a 7600GT in such an old motherboard?

BUMP! I have a copy of Rollercoaster Tycoon as well. It has run on Windows 7 fine. You might want to try a virtual machine or the like, because XP, which has pretty good compatibility runs it well.

What do you mean? MS-DOS will run on 8086/8088 processors. I bet earlier versions will run on even older processors. What is your question? And, 286s and earlier are 8 bit or 16 bit only.

I went and looked at PCem but I have no clue how to use it. The documentation on how to actually use it is almost nonexistant. Can you please explain? And, DOSBox was all that I saw, at least, for dos emulators.

I don't know. That is why I asked. I don't plan of installing Windows for Workgroups, and WfWG is not really necessary because it is mainly set up for file transfer, and not specifically for browsing the internet. It might be an error with how I set up Trumpet WinSock but I don't know. The drivers …

Oh, and you can always just try a virtual machine, such as VirtualBox or some VMware product. And Leileilol, if no mention was made about older processors and older hardware, emulation would be nothing. I am just mentioning an alternative to an emulator.

My Emulator: A 486DX 33Mhz machine running MS-DOS! And, if that is too fast I can always use a 386DX 25mhz.

Can anyone please tell how to do this? I got the NE2000 drivers and Trumpet Winsock, as well as WinPcap. However, I don't know how you set up WinPcap. Can anyone provide assistance?

BUMP! I hate to bump this thread, but using ykhwong's dosbox build and with Windows 98 SE installed inside it doesn't recognize the NE2000 emulation. And yes, I have WinPcap. PM me if this thread is closed.

Well, I use a HP laptop with Windows 8.1. I don't have a problem with it. As you said, it is likely Dell's proprietary key setup.
