That 500MHZ SECC was supposedly released October 25th 1999. The Intel Specification Update that first contained Coppermines was published november 1999 (see attached) and it does not contain a 500 MHz SECC and no mention of a cA0 stepping. AS close as we can get anyway. The Intel documentation is the most reliable but it is obviously not 100%. Glad you can work with it.

Ok, will do later. I also found a small photo plus mention of the SL6JV in an article. In the Intel Spec Update it is listed as 1.5GHz but this shows it was actually a 1400MHz. Sorry, but I don't think this cpu is going to be combined with an XP system anytime soon. It sits in my oldest system with a 13GB IBM hd and I do not have much luck with fiddleing lately.

But for your purpose it is not a big deal when you have couple of n0n-existing S-Specs in there - nobody will ever run into them, right ? Double entries are your main pain in the butt.

Yes, they are both listed at CPUW but only SL2Z7 seems legit to me. This sort of thing gets a life of its own when hardware sellers and database copyers start to repost them. SL27Z is f.e. still for sale 😀
