When I had my dual p3 500 system together I used speedfan to read the temps and fan speeds. It worked without issue.

They both sound like fun systems. That's why I picked up a GeForce 4 mx460 there cheap and preform on par with the GeForce 2 ultra.

It's for a temp sensor embedded in the heat sink. You might be able to use it and have a temperature display for your cpu that would be cool.

Been playing through Fallout 3 on my PC it's probably one of my favorite games. I also reinstalled the original Farcry looking forward to that. With my son we've been playing the old magic school bus games from when I was a kid as well as Some Safari.

That board looks to be in great shape. I'd remove that barrel battery before it starts to leak and ruins it.
