A DX2/66 though is the very last processor I would run without a heatsink. Cool stuff, thanks for this. Recently I benched the S3 805 against a VLB CL-GD5430 and the S3 is significantly faster at Doom and 3DBENCH2, so it would be cool to see some faster cards thrown into the mix as well. (What retro activity did you get up to today?)

@einr -if the board came with an external battery only, you need to use one of those. Generally pin 4 is negative and pin 1 si positive (connect red cable side). Pin 1 should be silk-screened right next to the connector. Try finding a manual online to see if it provides power to the external …
