Thanks but I was under the understanding that these source ports were for Win7 and up. At the moment I'm trying to get Glidos to work, but it needs an internet connection apparently.

Which VooDoo2 driver do you have installed? I'd suggest upgrading the VooDoo2 driver to the FastVooDoo 4.6 drivers and remove a stick of RAM to see if that's the cause (might be the case). Going down another rabbit hole. Just bought the game CD and have had no luck getting the 3DFX patches to run on my Win98 machine so now looking to use my XP rig with dosbox. Can anyone give me some guidance on this, especially using wrappers and such in conjunction with D-Fend Reloaded?

Forgot to ask regarding this topic, does it matter which directory I have the game in relative to the 3DFX patches? The default is C:\Games\Descent2 whereas mine is in C:\Descent2.
