I have a motherboard here (from a Netserver e800) that has two of the long 64-bit PCI slots (5V signalling) but which run at 33 MHz It this PCI or PCI-X? Because from what I can see, the PCI-X specification is only defined for 66 MHz and up.

I remember Tib Sun multiplayer on Westwood Online. Everybody played those stupid 'gold maps'. Just mass and rush. GG. No strategy.

There are some very cool fluid rendering animations on Youtube. If I had one of these machines that's what I'd be doing with it. It's a foretaste of the future: games with realistic water.

I think these are supposed to be used with 200-400 MHz CPUs. Higher than that and they overheat. Put a fan over it.

A lot of these lampshades have broken audio sockets, presumably due to the speakers falling off the desk. It's something to watch out for if you buy one on fleabay.

I don't remember the details but think it was something to do with the GPU, with the iMac G4 using Nvidia and the iMac G3 using ATI. This should have been resolved by updated drivers but for whatever reason those never got released.

Old (1998-2002) games don't run well in OS X for mysterious Apple reasons. (There were lawsuits over this IIRC.) PC emulation also sucks. If you want to play these games you need a machine that can boot the classic OS.
